Moon Virus
A tiny bit of pushing led to me finally getting my act together and posting something about the AFH fan comic I've been drawing called Moon Virus

For starters... I honestly don't know how I got started on this idea! I think it came about during a research paper I was doing on werewolves and clinical lycanthropy...

The basic plot goes as such: Shadehawk was simply doing his usual nightly rounds when shots, followed by a bonechilling howl break out and suddenly he's pushed off the side of a building by what can only be described as a werewolf. Of course, who in the logical world would ever believe such a thing? But as our hero is plagued by vivid dreams he can't help but believe that he is indeed turning into a werewolf!

And I'd like to state for the record that it was only supposed to be three parts long, but somewhere along the way grew...

Ummmm... I hope you enjoy.

RE: Moon Virus

EDIT: I stuck the archive links in the first post. I hope you don't mind Icon_razz

Also, because I'm an annoying guy that tends to point out these kind of things:

2-7 could probably do with a period after "The one and only", and some punctuation mark after "So" (judging by the capital letter that follows).
2-8 has "exhibit" and "museum" spelled wrong.
3-4 has "shoulder" and "lose" spelled wrong.
3-9 isn't in the Moon Virus collection.
4-1 should probably say "you know that".
4-2 should probably not have an uppercase letter for the second "it".
4-6 has "lose" spelled wrong.
4-8 has "actually" spelled wrong, and could probably do with some punctuation after "Just tell me this".
5-1 has "Autumn" spelled wrong.

Really good comic. Probably unintentional but I'm particularly amused how you've added two new characters called Jack when AFH already has a Jack Icon_razz

Also looking a lot better than when you started (not that it looked bad to start with). This page is particularly cool.

Thanks! Yeah... the errors... this is why I work with a writer on my main comic to catch my mistakes.

Yeah, Jack... his name came at the last minute, I just couldn't think of what to call him and a friend told me he looked like a Jack.

And thank you again!

Having a next button would be so much easier.

Thinking up a new game. Gonna try to host it on the net. Gonna fail hard, but that's half the fun.

It's in the comments below each page, though yeah it is a bit out the way... which is why I added links to all the pages into the first post.

RE: Moon Virus
This is actually really good. You definitely draw as well as Webby, though with a very different style of course. And I'm on the edge of my seat for the next one.

RE: Moon Virus
Great storytelling, great sense of humour, great character design, and many other things number among the qualities that webrunner demonstrates in his webcomics. Great artistic talent is not one of them... the art in this is better than AFH Icon_razz

Thanks, I'm flattered. I've always been impressed by webrunners panel layouts and some of his use of effects. Really, all I got is technical skill.

RE: Moon Virus
To anyone that's interested in this comic but not watching deadrabbit on deviantArt for whatever reason, I've been updating the archive in the first post of this thread as new pages come out. I've not been bumping the thread when a new page is done, but if anyone wants to I could.

EDIT: Also, after the last actual chapter, Moon Virus and werewolves don't seem at all out of place in AFH >_>

RE: Moon Virus
I'm sorry if this causes more headaches for people but I moved MV to its own DA account. This way you don't have to skim through all the other junk I've been submitting to get to a new MV page.
I've already colored the first chapter, and am debating about coloring the others.

you can view it at moonvirus.deviantart.com

Again, I apologize if this causes any confusion or trouble for anyone, but I figured this could keep things more organized (for myself at least).

RE: Moon Virus
For anybody wondering, the moovirus links to a 404. Would have been damned interesting (I think) if it did indeed work however.

RE: Moon Virus
I'd consider a story about BSE to be far less interesting than a story about lycanthropy... well at a guess anyway, not having read any.

RE: Moon Virus
As far as headaches go... well, just a fortnight before you announced that you were moving Moon Virus, webrunner actually linked to it on the news section of AFH. If you didn't notice this, you're completely forgiven considering how infrequently it gets updated. It does link to this forum thread as well though, so you needn't worry about people getting lost (too much).

And I've updated the archive with the recoloured pages (though I notice that you've prematurely deleted six pages before redoing them).

Also your sig banner link is just very broken. And to be honest, it seems a bit odd that you'd have used a banner maker considering that you can actually draw Icon_razz
