Since the ability is passive, and stronger as he lives longer, I too would prefer a stat skew, specifically to 45/55.

yeah we already have a kelar general

I'd say go with the stat skew as well to make it a bit different (as well as it being a viable boost)

Kelar General's ability primarily buffs itself. At giving only +2/+2 to other dark elf soldiers, it's incredibly close to Slime Champion's +3/+3, so actually boosting the synergy would make it less like Kelar General.



EDIT: Also -2/+8 is quite a bit more than just 'stat skew!'.

Also, we should give it the soldier type as well, re:Kelar General showing that Generals count as Soldiers.

We should also give the soldier type to Slime Leader.

They could be anything other than an organised army. Slime Leader could just be a team leader of a group of worker slimes. Slime Champion could just be a slime that won their school marathon that one time.

It could have simply absorbed a paladin's armour into itself. Or maybe it's like a paletteswap of a slime enemy like you get in a game (you know how you go most of the way through the game having never seen any, then suddenly one dungeon has a third of its slime population be kings?). Or perhaps slimes just import paladin gear, because it's cheaper and more effective than manufacturing their own?

I am so not following. I guess it's a reference to a genre of games that I never played or something,

That scenario would make it a soldier, would it not? Unless you are suggesting that they use paladin gear for farmwork.

Those would be JRPGs, who seem fond of slime enemies, and often have slime royalty as the strongest types of slime.

And paladins manage to use paladin gear without being soldiers, so why not slimes? Icon_razz
