Deckbuilding Competition: CK-3 Sword Dancer
A one off Contest. If you're new, an explanation follows. If you're an old hat at that, feel free to skip to the big horizontal line.

The basic idea is quite similar Ultros' Create-A-Card Competition:
For each contest, people are given a single card, theme, or combo with which to build a deck around. Once a number of people have entered, I'll decide on a winner who will receive 1000 points for their trouble. If anyone would actually like to collect their winning, place a Melrak Follower in your store for the price of your winnings and post here/PM me.

The last deck each person posts will be taken as their submission (common sense will apply in cases such as joke deck posts and what not.)

Decks will be judged on adherence to the criteria of that specific contest and who has created the best deck. There will, of course, be some bias as to what I think is the "best", but generally I'll be looking for the deck which is the most likely to win and does not have some glaring weakness(es) (i.e. if two decks both appear very likely to win similar amounts of games, I'll look at which deck lacks protection against other deck archtypes-snipers, rush, etc.) Also, trophies, donations, and other extreme rarities will be slightly frowned upon- only utilize them if they truly aid the deck in question, and only in sane quantities. (90x Y1C)

I wish to emphasis that the most important criteria is adherence to the theme. If the contest is to create a deck which utilizes Red Goop, the goal is not to throw that card into a good deck but rather to create a deck which maximizes the effectiveness of Red Goop's unique features.

My goals are to encourage the posting of successful decks (something that really doesn't occur as much as it should) and to highlight the unique beauty of each card. It seems to me that too often people rely on cards they have used before rather than branching to other cards, preferring the reliability of past experience over experimentation.

Design a deck which focuses on CK-3 Sword Dancer

RE: Deckbuilding Competition: CK-3 Sword Dancer
I can confirm that Masa's Year One Cake/Sword Dancer deck is AMAZING and should win the grand prize.

Tamdrik is solely and retroactively to blame for all of the current problems with the CMC economy-masamunemaniac

webrunner is terrible at balance. He makes unbalanced cards. - masamunemaniac

VETO VETO VETO LOL -webrunner

This, masa, is not an convincing argument. But those have no place in the balance forum anyway. -Aldgar Omk
