Crystal Shield while attacking
If you cast crystal shield on a monster AFTER you declare an attack it can still attack that turn, works during the opponent's defend phase as well.
Still needs ruling as if this a bug/exploit/just how the system works to see if it needs fixing or not.

RE: Crystal Shield while attacking
Until the ruling, should we just not do it?

RE: Crystal Shield while attacking
I'd say it probably counts as bug abuse, seeing as that's a pretty major click war issue, and something tells me that's not an intended use of the card. But no one's going to stop you from using the combo I guess.

RE: Crystal Shield while attacking
It's not a clickwar. You can use the Shield after declaring the attack but before moving to your opponent's defense phase.

RE: Crystal Shield while attacking
Ah, right. Then I don't know. I do something similar with Hyperspace and Ninja Baker all the time.

RE: Crystal Shield while attacking
You mean attacking a monster, then Hyperspacing the Ninja who attacked, and you get a Mellonpan from it?

RE: Crystal Shield while attacking
No, it only works when defending because Ninja Baker's ability doesn't work on offense.

If I had known that, I might have not traded mine away.

RE: Crystal Shield while attacking
You probably shouldn't do it, but you're not going to get warned or penalised for doing so if it's not confirmed that it actually is a bug (although it does sound like it is a bug).
I was aware of that Ninja Baker/Hyperspace combo right from the design stage, and I've no idea whether it's actually a bug or not. It might be? But feel free to do that all you want anyway, it uses counters specifically to avoid that interaction being too silly.

RE: Crystal Shield while attacking
Yeah, I figured that's what the counters were for after the first couple uses of that combo. Though it was a little confusing at first why my Melonpans weren't working right.
